I trade in index and currency futures options.

I have not traded stocks in last 20 years. So I am in a position to relax having adopted both Speculative and Non-speculative option strategies that can take care of the markets whether they fall or go up.

It is in this frame of my mind I would advise University finance and business students including trading learners not to lose this life-time opportunity to be a witness to unprecedented market turmoil while trying to find value from the tough situation.

Global Markets (Except markets like India and other countries which are restricted to domestic residents only)

I am an educator registered with Interactive Brokers and can obtain free of cost Paper Trading Account from Interactive Brokers. It all depends on them whether to offer it or not. I can pass the requests to them.

Traders living in Hong Kong and elsewhere have access to global derivatives market can pratice trading on virtual platforms provided by the exchanges like Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Globally, there must be a lot of such trading platforms free or on a free trial basis being offered by brokers and exchanges. You can use those as well to practise options trading without paying any subscription fee.

In three months of virtual trading focus only on BUYING OF OPTIONS. you will gain a basic skill of trading options and possibly an interest in making big money from small money. It may take 10 years or 15 years (based on one hour of pratice) for you to acquire the skill . But it will be worth the wait.

Patience is the key to do successful trading. Let us practice the virtue of patience and not only get rid of our fearful corona virus emotions. but learn a lesson in how to exercise patience.
